Welcome to paradise!     Robert McGuigan is a full-time real estate advisor with Watersound Real Estate, a boutique brokerage proudly backed by The St. Joe Company — the visionary developer behind much of the land surrounding Latitude Margaritaville Watersound.


A fourth-generation Floridian and Panhandle resident for over 13 years, Robert brings deep local knowledge and a genuine passion for the lifestyle this community offers. After a 25-year career in Alabama law enforcement, he transitioned into real estate, earning his license and quickly becoming known for his professionalism, integrity, and client-first approach.

For more than two years, Robert has proudly lived in Latitude Margaritaville Watersound — the same neighborhood where he now helps others find their dream homes. Before joining Watersound Real Estate, he spent over three years on the original sales team for the community’s developer, Minto, where he personally guided hundreds of buyers through model tours, design selections, and the full building process.

Today, whether clients are building new or exploring resale opportunities, Robert offers personalized, informed support every step of the way. He provides private community tours, facilitates introductions to the Minto sales team, and ensures that buyers are matched with the right people, floorplans, and options for their lifestyle. If someone chooses to build, he remains a trusted advisor through construction, closing, and beyond.

Outside of work, Robert is an active part of the community — attending Town Square events, catching live music, enjoying time on the water, or dining at local favorites.
